"The Fiend" is a single-cutaway electric guitar with a contoured solid ash body finished with nitrocellulose lacquer, and a 5-piece curly maple/wenge neck with a hand-rubbed smooth satin Tru-Oil finish.
The two Gretsch Filtertron pickups are extremely versatile, and are completely at home anywhere from jazz to country to rock. Controls include a 3-way switch with a single volume control and a single tone control.
The fretboard is wenge, with a 12" radius. Scale length is 24.75". Includes Grover tuning machines, a nickel wraparound bridge, Duncan Straplocks, and a Tusq nut.
